I just loved the mixture of Irish and African. Both use the rhythm and melodies and drones. That sort of mixture is what made American music. We mixed the European and the African and created the music that dominates the world. I love it.

I've been listening to Afro Celt Sound System for some time now; apparently I should have been watching them instead in order to better identify the various interesting instruments they use.
