She did a show in Chicago and just wanted to tell you guys that haven't seen her that she's an amazing talent and you should make a point of catching her show. Very good.

I caught her performance with Ethan Jodziewicz in Denver in February. They both looked exhausted and just didn't seem to have the same energy level as when I saw them about a year ago. Don't know their tour schedule, but it must have been grueling. They did mention that their next stop was the Grammy's. That being said, she was still magnificent! She's simply a terrific performer and artist. As an aside, did you notice if Ethan still had the blue masking tape patch on his bass?
My question is how did she learn to play like that in so few years?
"So few years" ??
Take a look at FaceBook my friend, this little girl has been picking for a lot of years now.
And she's not shy! Just incredibly cute!

I saw them in St. Louis last Friday and they were fantastic. What a great show. When Sierra would walk over to switch instruments she would cough and get a sip of water. Really bad cough too. Her voice somehow was not affected. Amazing talents both of them. I'm so glad we were able to see them.

I saw her last year in Texas.... one word.... AMAZING. I took my 24 year old daughter and she fell in love with her music.

Not only years, but really hard work. In reading about her, her father has been a positive and supporting force in communicating the harsh reality and competitiveness of pro muscians. Her mother, i believe is her road manager.
SH has , like Thile, tasked herself with development, and, i think too, Berklee helped with the new breadth of style we see.
I saw her here in denver a few weeks back. Bach piece was amazing. As was the rest of her show.
Her speed and tone are as good as they get. Her performance skills and audience rapport are also great. Her interaction and musical conversations with her bassist are playful and seamless. Blue tape still on the bass.
Great instrumentalist but that voice is something to behold!
I have to admit I was really commenting on how great a player she is to be so young. I guess I should have been more straightforward. I know she worked hard for a good many years to get to the point she is now.Not only years, but really hard work.
