    Default Sam Bush instructional dvds

Any views here on whether to get Sam's two DVD set Sam Bush Method, or the two DVDs lead mandolin and rhythm mandolin? I got an Amazon gift card for my birthday. Contemplating those. Also the Ronnie McCoury one. Advice?

And I can't afford them all or I would!

I've got the latter two you mentioned from Sam Bush, Lead and Rhythm, and really like studying with those, sorry can't speak about the other. It's going to come down to what you really want. I trust the Homespun stuff to be good, so I just pick my subjects and go with it (I have 25 of the Homespun lessons - for mandolin, guitar, ukelele and piano - and not a loser in the bunch).

I got all three and they are very cool.
The trick with Homespun is to buy one and start to work on that first.
You will find that you get almost daily special deal emails from them.
Soon enough you find the next Bush DVD for 30% off or whatever.
I think the McCoury one on email special for $10.

    IMHO,
"All about Rhythm Mandolin is great".
"All about Lead Mandolin" does not exactly keep what the title promises.
