Default Holy Smokes- Ronnie McCoury - I Heard That Lonesone Whistle

Was listening to my local bluegrass radio show (Music from the True Vine - KBOO). And they played I heard that Lonesome Whistle Blow by Ronnie. Had to look it up because it had such an amazing bluesy groove. Apparently it was on a discontinued album called A Picture of Hand- The New Bluegrass Way. Found the album on Amazon (CD) for $6 shipped, so had to check it out. I couldn't find it anywhere online. Tough to beat the Dreadful Snakes version. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OfMX...wirGQVolTV-KDs

KBOO uploads a stream of the show, so I will dig that up when it is live and find the track for ya'll. So good.

Lonesome Whistle is an old Hank Williams song.

Love the McCoury's version, but I'm particularly enamored of the groove Little Feat achieved with it on Hoy, Hoy (released after Lowell died, but that's him singing it).
