I just posted a fun 2 mandolin arrangement of a movement from a Telemann trio sonata, originally for transverse flute, violin and continuo over at my So Many Tunes blog.
This month marks the beginning of year eleven for that blog. While most of the content is "non-classical" a certain amount of the music I present there is, more or less classical (broadly defined).
In the blog post I say: "In arranging this music for two mandolins I have pulled notes and phrases from the bass line to provide material for each player during what were measures of rest in the original."
