What a great set, Kevin. Lovely blend of the three instruments and the mando and melodeon go so well together.
Interesting lighting effect on the headstock of your mandolin makes it look like there are LEDs flashing in sync as you play! Maybe an idea for the future?

Nice set, nice steady pace.
Leo used to live in Aberdeen and I've seen George in Sandy Bells once or twice so I guess you're all somewhat familiar but the sound is very fresh.

Thanks, Kevin, lovely stuff. Those Shetland tunes are great fun, aren't they?
Cheers! Here's a song as well ....

Been a while since I had a thorough house clean of my website, which I have now done! The benefits of being stuck inside with a bad back!
Anyway, there are new sections on the new mandolin developments at Taran Guitars, recent music videos, travel films, Highland Scotland inspired artworks I created and a wee shop of course!

I hope it is of some interest. Thanks for taking a look if you do.
many thanks

A very well-constructed site, Kevin. Clean and fast to move around in (I am at the end of an appallingly slow broadband connection here in Cowal so always like a site that loads fast. Nigel's The gathering is also a good one for speed!).
I have had fun browsing it this afternoon.

I must be too late for the link (is there one on your site for it?). I love Shetland tunes.
Thanks John, glad you found it of some use! Trust all goes well in Argyll these days!
Which link were you after catmandu? There are some shetlandic reels in the video in post 9 above .... cheers Kevin

None of the videos are showing for me either. Using Safari at home.
I'm using Chrome and all video links are present.
The videos are using Flash. If you have this disabled or it's not supported then that's probably why it's not showing. I disabled Flash in my Chrome browser and they disappeared.
I'd have thought Vimeo would automatically try to play in HTML5 if the browser didn't have Flash (as it's falling out of favour these days) but it seems not.
Ah well, don't you just love computers eh?
If you are really desperate to see them, they might work on my website for you or directly in vimeo ... dunno .... they are nothing to get excited about!!!

Well, I'm the type of person to get excited over a tune or two!
Where on your site might they be? (I didnt find them on your videos page. Btw I noticed some of your work with Mr Fraser - I heard this nice piece on apm radio yesterday - I love Scottish music on low strings

Flash is disabled in my browser by default but right-clicking on the blank video space usually brings up the option "run this plug-in"
