Default Hi, New to the forum.

    Hi,

My name is Steve and I am from Michigan. I have been playing the mandolin for 5 months now. My teacher is Don Julin.

I love the mandolin, such an amazing instrument. My musical interests are wide as I like everything from Classical to Blue grass.

I am currently working on fiddle tunes and also singing and strumming with my mandolin.

Its nice to be here with such a large group of mandolin players. I am always looking to expand my knowledge and would love to play music with people so if you are in south east Michigan then lets get a session in.

    Steve

Welcome to our obsession. (The instrument is the obsession, the website is a habit.)

You have a really good teacher, you can't go wrong following his instruction.

Welcome to the Cafe! The Mandolin is a great instrument for people with broad interests - there's almost nothing you can't play on it.

Welcome to the café! Where in southeast Michigan? I lived in Ypsi for about a decade and kind of recall the geography ...

Welcome to our wild, wacky world. Be prepared for fun, joy, frustration, sore fingers and making a lot of neat friends. Good luck.
