    Unhappy DIY Bowl Back Mandolin Case

    As bowl back mandolin cases are usually really expensive etc., I decided to make my own using quilting as a base. It's taken a few weeks, and all but the zip was free (craft cupboard supplies). It's all hand sewing and quilting in the normal method used for bedding. I though you'd like to see some pictures:







    The handles allow me to cross body carry or hold it in my hand It's not really designed for travel, more to keep the dust off. There is a good inch and a bit of quilters wadding on each side so hopefully that would keep it safe if I did go for a local gaunt.
