Thread: Bending the sides

    I have some trouble in the past for bending the sides , especially the scroll and I have try the system used by some of you . I've got the heat blanket from Tom Durr ( mandomaniac in Mandolincafe ) and I must say that it work perfectly well . Here are some pics of my new tool .
    Just a little fact , I thing it will be preferable to act by traction than compression as I made , ( see in topic "tools you have made" there is a good example .

    Jean Lacote, it looks as though you have a good and reliable method for bending sides.

    I just recieved the setup from Tom today. I couldn't wait, I had to try it out. WOW!!! #This system is so slick. Nice stright, untwisted, clean sides!!! #Big thanks Tom. You have saved me lots of time.

    Currently classifieds add Reply to Ad #13743. If you ever look but can't find it search the classifieds forheat blanket and it will come up. John
