Too rich for me. I'm not familiar with the maker, and I personally prefer a floating bridge bouzouki over a pin-bridge one. Just personal preference.
Incidentally - the bouzouki in question appears to be strung with nylon strings for the top two course. Interesting. Wonder how it sounds.
Umm .. yeah no. Maybe a grand, if it was actually played by someone from Toto, whoever was in that band.
It has been listed on the Café classifieds once or twice at a similarly high price.
Well, for the serious Toto-loving bouzouki player - or bouzouki-playing Toto fan - this would be just the thing. With 7.2 billion or so people on the planet, there ought to be one person for whom this is that. Unfortunately, odds are good that would still be only the builder.
But that's just my opinion. I could be wrong. - Dennis Miller

Finders Keepers, my duo with the astoundingly talented and versatile Patti Rothberg. Our EP is finally done, and available! PM me, while they last!
So true! A sad day for eBay sellers when rich crazy people stop making impulse buys.....in fact, that WAS my business model for several years selling on eBay! I think my "career best" was selling a belt buckle that WAS SIMILAR to one worn by Elvis for $500--and having the lady thank me for selling her such a rare item....ya gotta love it. But, I guess the economy has touched everyone to some degree.....
Just looked at the listing again, and noticed there is a 16 part terms and conditions to the sale, all written out in Dutch. Never seen such an extensive contract on eBay before. Is it a EU thing?
I predict you'll be able to get a real Greek bouzouki pretty cheaply in the near future. (Oxi? Nai!)
