These are not easy to find. I'm looking for a set of Waverly "A" mando tuners and not having much luck. The Golden Age "F" tuners that StewMac sells look like post-1923 Waverlies, with the fleur-de-lis ends and screw on buttons.

The golden age tuners will drop in nice for an A mandolin (the wiggle end plates like on my f2).. Don will make a custom set of F tuners from those as well, but I thought there might be a cosmetically inferior but functionally superior choice out there
ask at Stew Mac Directly? the Golden age are coming across the pacific from ROC, I thought.
maybe a little removing and resettint thje swaged in shaft journals gets the job done
theres those custom hand made italian ones too ,{whassisname)
Does The new CNC $500 Waverly make old and current spaced tuners ?

Ah.. Alessi.. good idea! His tuners are gorgeous. I will see if he has a design for the older spacing

He quoted me $450, though this was a year ago
I believe Mr Alessi does everything, himself . not convert the Stew Mac .
but if you want the backing plate to Look like the one pictured , that may be accommodated for you ,
it is a custom made item after all ..
