    Good attempt. Clean picking. Constant timing is more important than speed; if it is speed you want, however, the bar is quite high

    As Bertram says, clean picking and a good try at a difficult hornpipe. If I might suggest a pointer to developing your speed and regular rhythmical playing, try to keep your left hand fingers from coming so far off the fret board as you finger the notes - the further they come up, the further they have to come down again, and this can slow you down.

    Thanks. I am working on improving my left hand technique. Quite difficult. In the video I can see where I have left hand finger movement which wastes energy and is less efficient. The musician in the video link Posted by Bertram Henze is moving so fast!!!!
