We will do that again. That really was big time fun!

It looks like you had at least 12 pickers there (not counting the photographer). Congrats! That's a very good turn out and it makes us out-state pickers a bit jealous.

Yeah, was a great time! A dozen pickers, so we split into two separate jams.
It certainly added to the list of fiddle tunes I need to figure out. Spotted Pony (which I've run through, but never really gotten down) and Alabama Jubilee.
I think I need to take some lessons from Fred, too. (If for no other reason than to try out that Brentrup!)
Hey, just for the heck of it, I created a Minnesota Pickers social group.

Let's see how many there are of us!
Hey, there is already a social group named Mandosota http://www.mandolincafe.com/forum/group.php?groupid=121
I think, therefore, I pick.
I guess i didn't search for mandosota! (If you search for "minnesota" nothing comes up.)
I'll delete that other one!
So when do we do it again??? I didn't have nearly enough time with the downstairs cadre. What's a reasonable amount of time to wait to do another all-mandolin jam?

I could see it be a monthly thing, for sure.
Any more frequent and we might get tired of each other!
Dang it! I stopped checking this group for a month and it comes to life! I guess I'll wait for the next one. Anyone interested in a monthly gathering?
Well, the next gathering could be this weekend at El Rancho Maņana.

Who else is going?
I wish I could--I have a gig down in New Ulm. I'll start looking to set up the next jam around June 15. SCIFI--if you'd like to send me your home email (through PM here) I will send out updates. Based on our May attendance, I got a list going.

Awesome. I see a couple people that I've seen at homestead pickin parlor in there.
A kid who likes mandolins.
I'm looking at June 15th, Monday, as the next get-together for Minnesota mandophiles. Unless I hear overwhelming objection I reckon we'll give that a go.

Confounded soccer game on the schedule, but it's at 6pm, so if the jam starts at 7, I might be able to make it for Hour 2.
