Default Vivaldi: Largo from "Winter", mandolin trio

    Antonio Vivaldi (1720): Concerto No. 4, Op. 8, RV 297, "L'inverno" (Winter)
    2. Largo

I've been recording some fairly obscure music lately, so here is a rather more mainstream piece. My recording of the Largo from "Winter" from Vivaldi's Four Seasons is based on an arrangement by Wanda Sobieska for two violins and violoncello (transposed to B minor from the original F minor):

I have adapted the arrangement for a plucked trio of two mandolins and mandocello.

    1915 Luigi Embergher mandolin
    Mid-Missouri M-0W mandolin
    Suzuki MC-815 mandocello

This is pretty straightforward, but fun to play and the piece suits the tone of the Embergher. There is a quartet arrangement at the same site as well, but I think the trio works just fine -- not sure an added mandola/viola is necessary.
