Best place to advertise tenor guitar in classifieds?

OK this may be a dumb question and if so, I apologise but I need some enlightenment.
Over the years I've seen tenor guitars advertised in every section of the Café classifieds - Mandolins, Guitars (of course), CBOMs and Other. I tend to opt for Guitars, but I worry about them getting swamped by all those pesky 6-stringers, so is there a consensus - Other ?

I've wondered about that too. I'd say "Mandolins" is the only obviously wrong place to put them since there is the "CBOM" section. CBOM, Guitar and Other all seem about equally good. Since I'm tuned GDAE and play mostly fiddle tunes I think of mine as closer to a 4 string OM.

I would second that - currently i find tenors listed variously in the mandocafe classifieds in:

CBOM
GUITARS
OTHER

Its a pain for buyers - and sellers too i would imagine.

In this day and age I rarely go through any category but simply search for what I'm looking for. If you're looking for a tenor guitar try searching the classifieds for using the search term "tenor guitar".

Doesn't hurt to have more than one way of searching Mike - not everyone's going to think that way .... I always think the best designs allow different approaches when it comes to user interface

My recommendation is these go in the guitar category because it's a guitar family instrument, and it's called a tenor guitar. We also have tenor banjos but I don't think we need a separate category from banjos in general in spite of the fact it has been the fastest growing segment of the Classifieds this year. I think there's a balance in what I call category creep on web sites and Forums in particular. If I counted right there are only nine tenor guitars. I we were running 15-20 on a regular basis I'd make it a separate category. As it stands, the Classifieds are pretty simplistic but work quite well in terms of items found and sold and Mike's right, pretty easy to search. I'd even suggest leaving off the "guitar" in a search for tenor. More is usually not better in any kind of search.
