I just got the new issue of Mandolin Magazine with Carlo on the cover. Very nice interview, tho there were a few inaccuracies. They say that Carlo wrote a method book for Mel Bay... is that so? I think they meant the video. Also, instead of Pasquale Taraffo and Nino Catania, it said in the article that Serenata was inspired by "Plasquale and Niccolo." Or are there some other old Italian players I don't know about?

Still, all in all, a nice interview and an equally nice article by Anne Rivera about last years' mostly Vivaldi Master Class in New York. Also in the same issue an interview with Bill Bussman.

He also had a Burns transcription printed in Mel Bay's Mandolin 2000. I'm not aware of any other involvement with Mel Bay.
