Incredible playing, and love the humor in the titles and descriptions of the videos.
Any chance you'll pilgrimage up to Django in June again?
Great one Aaron!

Sublime.
Oh, crap, now I will have to tab out that one
Mmm Mmm Mmm. How sweet it is, indeed.
Thanks so much for the posting!

White #29R : Oh my!! This one is so AWESOME!!
I think I might be able to play 10-20 percent of this arrangement - which is the best I ever hope to do with an Aaron Weinstein chord melody! At least I recognize some of the chord forms. Thanks for posting.

Wow, I'm so thrilled with the positive response to this video!
Mark, I'm not currently scheduled to be at Django this June.
Mandolinfox, the real truth...the dirty little secret is that there are only a handful of chord forms that I'm using here.
But there are all sorts of ways to use those shapes!!
I know this tune a little bit, because I once played Charlie Christian's guitar solo on the mandolin. But your chord melody style is in a class by itself. Great!
Holy Cow! I don't think I'm even qualified to listen!
Awesome!
Really nice!
What strings are you using? My guess is that they are round wound. If true, I'm wondering if you've ever done this style of playing with flat wounds. it might enhance the style.

Hey Aaron! Not only do I love your mandolin playing but I love your violin work, too!
I hear you all the time on the Jonathan Channel, WNYC, the program hosted by Jonathan Schwartz, the son of Arthur Schwartz who composed "Dancing in the Dark".
I also love your bowties!
David Herman
That was incredible!
Aaron I've watched most of your U-tube clips multiple times and really dig what you are doing with violin in a jazz setting.
Your mandolin playing is right up there as well. Very swell stuff!
