    Default Kentucky Waltz

Gotta smooth out that tremolo in triple time.

That's a nice sounding mandolin you got there. Does sound like the tremolo is a bit rough. How round is the pick corner? To me it sounds like the pick is catching. I find for myself that to play tunes that require much tremolo, then a round corner is smoother, because a pointed pick tends to catch.

I used an unmodified Wegen TF 140 on the video. I tried it also with a Dunlop PrimeTone, but preferred the version with the Wegen. I generally use the PrimeTone now, but sometimes I think the Wegen is better on a song with a lot of tremolo.

I don't think it's the pick as much as your technique. Ronnie McCoury says the tremolo should be like shaking water off your hand, or my fave, from Frank Wakefield: Let your hand shake your wrist!

Yes, I agree with Alan. Everything there is just too tight. Loosen up your pick grip, relax your hand and wrist. And, as Alan says, just shake the water off your hand...I remember Ronnie saying that at IBMA years ago.
