Default Amp suggestion for my Fender MandoCaster 8

I'm primarily a Bluegrass / fiddle tune / Classical player.
I'm looking for an Amp to team with my newly acquired(new) Fender MandoCaster8 that will make it sound like a mic'd F4 Loar

Of course that's physically impossible. But bass combos (in my experience as a bass player with numerous amps) work really well with my Mandobird. In particular, my old SWR Baby Blue II is fantastic (with anything I plug into it, really). Great tube-driven 3-band semi-parametric preamp with 160 or so solidstate watts into 2x8" with 5" cone tweeter, phase aligned with the 8s. With a great DI as well. Awesome amp if you can find one.
    Blow on, man.

Since you did not specify a price range, I suggest a Dumble Overdrive Special. It will very likely give you exactly the tone you are looking for...and then some.

Hmmm, I think I'd rather put all those coins into a mandolin that sounds good without help.
It is however a thought provoking answer.

Been trying my Hartke Bass AMP. Sounds pretty cheap. My Fishman combo amp is showing some potential, but I hate messing up the EQ that is already dialed in for my Guitar.
I'll try my Acoustic 20 combo amp and see if it's worth designating it.

Solid State, as much as possible. Mainly because I have acoustic electrics that do better staying away from the howling tubes.

I Only Own a Roland AC 60. it seems versatile .. I have a Y'ha AG stomp multi EFX pedal

with interesting subtile reverbs (mic Simulator ) that can be added in a Loop out of the back Panel

theres others touting their favorites up in the equipment section.

I will humbly suggest Quilter Amps. I have the Micropro 200 8" model. Solid state lightweight and very versitle. You won't be sorry with a Quilter.

Well, since Loar didn't sign any F4s, I guess you alone can determine what that sound is.

The expert witness has checked in, and I stand corrected. Still would like the sound I can only imagine.

I did give the Hartke another chance, and it has potential, but I think it will have to go from the amp into my sound system, for additional eq and the best balance with the other mic'd components.

A greatly underrated amp in my opinion is the 80s era "red knob" Fender Princeton Chorus. At 38lbs they are fairly light for a 2 x 10" amp. Solid state, true stereo with two 25.5 watt power amps (one per 10" speaker), two channel preamp with foot switching, stereo chorus rate and depth with foot switching, limiter, gain and mid boost on channel 2, reverb, both mono and stereo effects loops, headphone out, 1 mega ohm input impedance on Input 1 for acoustic instruments with transducers. This is a great sounding amp and they can still be had for around $200-250 in good shape.

as the Fender Smurf headstock 8 is a magnetic pickup,
a lot of sing and play through 2 channel acoustic amps can do..

If it's solid state I will echo those who recommend ROland--some great choices--whether you want straight solidstate or digital with modeling.
And a modeling amp amy be the way to go in your case.
Fender makes some good ones as well.
Would it save you a lot of time if I just gave up and went mad now?
