    Question Musical Couch surfing?

Been out here in Astoria , for 18 years , rarely venture into Portland ,
Other than VA Pill Hill Appointments (not a Car Owner)
hard to drag players Out here for what jam sessions are trying to keep running

So Im wondering about the networking players that may be a Host for a day

so I can be in better communication with Portlanders
with out Moving there or pouring out big Hotel Costs.

[ RT on the POINT Bus is $36, FWIW]

Private messages is probably a Good way to communicate on this forum.

Lots of PDXers do come out here on the weekends . no one will go away Hungry
(or Parched with all the new cafe-Microbrewers out Here )..

    Prost!

Interesting idea. I am no place near there, but your post gave me an idea for a chat jam or for like a send a track in email and jam and send it back. May work, who knows?

    Wish I lived closer mandroid.
I love Astoria. It reminds me of a small San Fran.
The food, art, old architecture, hills, and even a bridge.
    Oh yeah, and Goonies too.
Hope to make the Tenor Guitar Gathering this year.

There are only 9 members of the Oregon group at the Café, so we are probably spread pretty thinly. I went to a class in Portland, and there were 10 people attending that, so there are a few mando players around, but not many. I might come if there was an event, and I heard about it.

I would think that if you are looking for jammers to play with, it would be much easier to find guitarists and fiddlers than mandolinners.
A talent for trivializin' the momentous and complicatin' the obvious.
