    Default Elkhorn Mango/Red Cedar F-5

]This is the most recent build off the Elkhorn work bench. I've really enjoyed working and pairing these two particular woods for a incredible sounding mandolin! Enjoy!

Robb, beautiful as always! I love the look of the mango! You have a way of making sure that the tortise binding really pops!

Awesome! The tortoise binding with that finish is a killer combination.

Nice! Some of the most beautiful mandolins I have seen are coming from Elkhorn. I am impressed, now I want to play one or two.

Thanks Guys for the kind words! I'm really trying to create instruments that are a departure from the norm yet incredible sounding and playing . The visual aspect is the icing on the cake. This mandolin is quite amazing sounding with the Red Cedar soundboard! Stay tuned; I have some amazing woods that I recently purchased that are going into the works soon.

Almost everything I've ever heard that had a cedar soundboard was above average and most were extraordinary including guitars. That is surely a beautiful mandolin. The owner of that is surely going to be proud.
