Enjoyed your blog comments. I believe the most brilliant creative artists have an insatiable need to express . The need is the constant ....the motivation . The more tools at his/her disposal ( language , life experience , knowledge of the greats , an understanding of his readers' / listeners' / viewers' capacities, in terms of grasping concepts and relating, and a firm grip on craft through consistent implementation ) the better the artist's chances of achieving greatness . A genius may never be perceived or accepted as such without this experience and the tools required to connect in a profound way .
