    Default solid body electrics

I've noticed a few sites with a Morgan Monroe 8 string electric that looks like a clone of the Eastwood Mandocaster. Anybody have any experience with the MMT-1E from Morgan Monroe? Does it have the same problems that the Eastwood has before the pickups, pots, and bridge are changed?

Touch the music put there by the summer sun and wind
The rhythms of the rain, locked within the rings
And let your fingers find The Music in the Wood."

    ARe all Eastwoods like that?
I've played some that were good.

I've found that Eastwood's QC can vary greatly--some are fine, some are almost there, and a few are not so good.
Would it save you a lot of time if I just gave up and went mad now?

Seems in cost cutting Pickups and all the electric parts , are one place where once it's in your hands

you can choose something Else , on another criteria than lowest cost.

I have the MM; is there an better aftermarket bridge available? BTW, I attempted to play it yesterday with a slightly out of tune 12 string guitarist; I threw up in my mouth a little. He wouldn't tune up, and the MM was as 'in' she can get. Blahhh.
