They had the tenor guitar first, then a double neck--so this makes sense.
Although personally I'd prefer the double neck--it shouldn't be that heavy.

Its a thing .. as described a 4 string electric Mandolin.. doesn't look like a bad deal at all ..
go for it if that type of instrument is what you need .. EU sources ? beats me

I live in greece and we dont see any e mando here.... unfortunately
If it's any help, the guitarist in my band had an eastwood solid-body eastwood electric guitar for a while, one of the Mosrite copies. It was solidly made, if slightly crude, and the sound was just okay. On bar with most mid-priced Asian made electric instruments, not as good as an American or Japanese made Fenders. Not as good as a G&L tribute or a higher end Yamaha, or the better MIM Fenders. If the build quality and playability suit you, a pickup upgrade would help a lot, but there aren't as many pickup options out there for electric mandolins as there are for guitars. But Eastwood makes a lot of wild looking instruments, and I'd say the prices are fair for what you get.
