Default Phillips Collection of Fiddle Tunes Vol. 2 Help

    Hi All,

Does anyone have any leads on obtaining a copy of Volume 2 of the Phillips Collection of Traditional American Fiddle Tunes? Copies are 100+...Ugh. I can't believe that it is so hard to find physically and unavailable as an ebook.

    Thanks!

Nice. Thanks Marc! Has anyone worked with Stacy's Bill Monroe book? Looks like a good one.

If you want Volume 2 on paper, I think most of it got parted out into the 'Favorite American [whatever]" books, presumably because somebody at Mel Bay realized that it was too good of a deal. It's a shame what doesn't (and does) stay in print.

Does anyone know where I can get Vol. 2 of the Phillips Collection of Fiddle Tunes? The book pdf on Phillips website is no longer available because he passed away. I hate to pay $120 for it on Amazon.

Very sorry to here that. I bought vol. 2 from him and it’s excellent. A dedicated guy to say the least.

I already have Volume One of these books. I wanted to get Volume Two but I added up all the separate books on Mel Bay website and it would cost me almost $93 plus shipping. Luckily I found one somewhat worn but all intact copy for a bargain price. I just got it today and am looking fwd to reading the pile of tunes in it. Excellent.
