Hey Kevin . Thanks for posting the video . I'm not familiar with that brand . Seems to have lots of volume and sounds quite even.
Great mandolin, and excellent playing. My last name is Morris and I've considered one of these simply for that reason. I really like the wood on the back and the overall tangerine look. A keeper for sure.

Congratulations on your new baby. It's great to see someone using Osage orange (we call it hedge around here) as a tone wood. The closest I've come is making a couple of banjo bridges with it. But then, I'm no luthier.

Morris is definitely underestimated in my opinion. (I am obviously biased). I will admit that from time to time i get MAS (like anyone). When this has occurred in the past I have taken my morris to the music store and played it next to other instruments. Upon doing that I always walk away content once again with my morris.
