Default Where Can I Find TABS for the Classic Bluegrass Songs??

    Hey all,

I am just getting back into mandolin and I have some chord charts and stuff to practice, but I don't have any tunes to work on. All my tabs from long ago are just dinky versions of the songs, like you would teach a child. I want the versions that are recognizable.

Can you all point me to where I can get some tabs of the well known bluegrass and old time fiddle tunes??

    Thank you for your help.

Well .... MelBay has several books some with CC and or DVD . Homespun has several more available for download or in hard copy. There are a goodly number of tunes posted by members on this site. See Tablature in the upper left hand corner of the main page. A good place to start for free. 20 Monroe Instrumentals is a MelBay book and another good place to start...... Luck.. R/
    I love hanging out with mandolin nerds . . . . . Thanks peeps ...

    Thanks all.

I got Tabledit the other night and looked at some songs in it.

Thanks for the links and help. This stuff should keep me busy for a while.

Jack Tuttle, who teaches at Gryphon Stringed Instruments in Palo Alto, CA, has a couple of mandolin books with good tabbed arrangements of bluegrass standards. Available from his website or from Gryphon.
