    Thanks! The mandolin is a J Bovier F5 Special, with D'Addario flatwounds. I'm using the Dunlop Primetone pick. See this thread. My post is on page 9.

    We had the Champaign-Urbana Folk And Roots festival recently. Between my duties as volunteer at various venues, I was able to attend Don's workshop. I did not get a chance to play this one for him. It would have been fun. Don is a great teacher in person.

    I shot this video at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival in San Francisco in October.
    Seeing it live gave me the chills - it was for the highlight of this year's fest...
