Default Value of a 90's MT Flatiron A5-jr?

Hi, new here. I was wondering what would the value of a decent condition Flatiron A5-jr be? Bruce Weber 90's era.

    Thank you.

And what do you all think of them?

maybe, like $1,600.00? Two grand seems upper end.

    I'm sure it's a fine instrument though.

Really? Awesome!!÷ i just ordered one on a hope and a wish for 800 bucks in fair condition. A couple of scratches and what not but nothing serious. I feel better about the risk i took now. Thank you.

It was either that or a 91 fesitval A for a grand but in the end went with the less expensive one.

$1600 sounds a little steep ,im thinking the A-5 Artist are closer to $1600

Ya it's not in the artist series. I believe the A5-jr is the beginning of the Signature series?

they're the parallel braced version of the A5-1. I think they have the elevated fretboard. . . Worth $800 bucks though.

The Festival model doesn't have the elevated fretboard right? that's what i had heard which discouraged me from buying. plus this one is bound.

Glad people passed on it. This is my first mandolin. Didnt want to go all in on my first plus I'm not exactly rich.

Not too much experience with stringed instruments, I'm a trumpet player. Really excited to try new things.

Great choice! The A5-jr is a much nicer mandolin than the Festival A, which in its own is a fantastic mandolin. Just goes to show, there are still good deals available now and again. I'd have bought the A5 jr for $800 in a heartbeat!!!!!
