    Default Video: Wilson #016

    This video is of my first Two Point model which is being played by Patrick Sauber. I had decided to push the envelope a little, constructing the back, sides and neck out of quarter sawn white oak. It has a Sitka top provided by Bruce (Spruce) Harvie of Orcas Island Tonewood.

    What a terrific sounding (and looking!) mando, Cuz! I hope you sell it soon, because I'll be tempted to fly back to FL with it if you still have it come Wintergrass time!

    That's really very nice. I seem to recall John Arnold building some guitars with white oak at one time, but that's the first mandolin I've ever seen. Sounds great. Very nice picking too...
