Hi, any suggestions on what this no-label mandolin might be? I'm guessing maybe 1950s or 1960s Regal. Looks pretty nice for $49.00

Give or take two or three decades. I think it was built by Regal. It's currently pretty close to its value at $49.00. I have a 30's Regal with the same tailpiece and tuners that belonged to my uncle. It's pretty much the same body with stenciled ornamentation and darker paint. Same pick guard.

Is that a long crack I see running from the tailpiece to the left on the side of the mando? Should be an easy fix if it is, but that should keep the price from rising much, if it is a crack.
