Happily, one of our cable channels carries Python a couple of times a week.

Got a mail from Stan the other day, he was waiting for a bit warmer temps before sending the now finished cittern, as he wanted to avoid any crazing in the finish if it ended up sitting in some unheated Canadian customs warehouse!

He's also done his first YouTube video, featuring his own personal Walkaround Dulcimer:

Watch it and leave a comment!

I am not happy at all. Will be taking this up with the luthier. As this is not the place for airing my discontent, this will be the last word on the cittern.

'tis all well. I have been refunded my money and told to just 'junk it'. I have just put a deposit on a teak and red spruce cittern with Nikos Apollonio.

Nope. Went traditional, as it will fit my hard shell case.

Hi Rob, I know you stated you don't feel this is an appropriate place to air your discontent; however I think it would be educational for everyone to know what the problem was. Was the problem a result of the luthier's work? The post office/shipper?
Regardless, it seems like it was quite noble of the luthier to refund you for the instrument!
If you still don't feel comfortable letting us know, PM me if you have time!

    Rob,

Wow. I'm so sorry to hear of your disappointment. I too would like some education, as boatswain mentions below. You could PM me, but email is preferred: ecmo1@yahoo.com.

Thx & sorry again to hear your sad tale.
