Just a few pics of my newly finished F4. Sounds like an F4 but more sustain and volume. The neck is only extended to the 14th fret. X braced.

Sorry the pics are sideways. Can't figure out how to rotate them.

Gary, nice looking F4!
Sideways or not, very nice work. You should be proud.
Very pretty and clean. With the longer neck above the body and elevated board you'll certainly get a bit different from the traditional Gibson F4 sound. You've made the Vessel Oval Hole Sound!

Is it sold? How much? Beautiful mandolin. As always outstanding work.

Thank you everyone. I do believe it has a new home.
Gary,
The F4 and ovals in general are heard to get just right IMO. The symmetry of the oval and rosette really have to be spot on and you nailed it! Beautiful!

Thank you everyone. This mandolin will be living in Northfield Minnesota. If anybody would like to see it let me know and I can arrange it.The mandolin will also be in New York City next week.if anyone would like to see it there I can arrange that too.
Gary....
That is one sweet looking F4...someone is going to be very happy, no doubt.
