Ain't she purty?!
Ain't she purty?!
She sure is
Any more information?
I love two point ovals, but I agree that we need more information.... Brand, vintage, relative cost if new, or rough cost if used, your thoughts and observations on its tone. Pretty is only skin deep.
Ok so not a lot of info to work with here but I'll give what I got;
There is no label but there is a dab of glue where it should be, mabe fell off?
There is a sticker on the back/top of the headstock that reads AM-40 and one at the bottom MADE IN KOREA.
The neck is a tad thick and has a strange design where it meets the headstock. I'll add some pics.
I bought it on e-bay 5 or so years ago for $180.
She sounds a bit nasal has great sustain and there is a brace under the bridge.
If anyone knows anything more about this mando or the strange neck detail I would be grateful, thanks for lookin'!!!

Bears a striking similarity to some of the late 1970's to early 80's 'Aria' 2-pointers. The model prefix, 'AM' also suggests a possible Aria origin ('Aria Mandolin').
