Looks like NPR just posted the Tiny Desk Concert with Nickel Creek. Always fun watching these folks perform.

Nice. Thile got braces.
Thanks for posting, look forward to watching later today. Love the Tiny Desk concerts.
Blow on, man.
Very nice. REAL mandolin players buy their dream mandolin FIRST and then get braces. You have to get your priorities straight!
Just watched it - fantastic. Extremely enjoyable, but a little humbling to watch musicians of that calibre.

Just watched it too. What a great band.
Wonder how they will impact his singing?
I think he'll be fine. I'm sure he thought about that. At length. In any case, it's not a full set. It's just a little patch on the top, which has probably bugged him his whole adult life.
Good for him, catching a breath and taking care of himself. Setting a good example for the rest of us.

Great video clip of wonderful musicians. So let's talk about the mandolin player's tooth braces.
Wonder if those are X Braces?

"I'm turning myself into something a little less promising, a little more useful." Nice line.
Yeah, that song is full of excellent lines.
Blow on, man.
Such a nice little concert (and a concert series). Thanks for this.

The recent NC show was great, and I like the CD a great deal, but it's i interesting to hear the stripped down, no effects, essence of the songs.

That Sara Watkins sings with great passion and really tells the story. Nice voice too.
