Default vintage bowlback identification? fluted back

I just turned up another old bowlback mandolin, no label, but nicely made.
It has a fluted back, which seems unusual

That's pretty for sure - it's a DeMeglio clone, but almost certainly not made by them.

Pretty indeed. I think the only feature that recalls De Meglio is the scratchplate. The headstock shape, tailpiece cover, bridge design and edge binding are all more the standard Neapolitan type. I can't see if there are any side vents. It's curious to see fluting on such wide ribs: normally, fluted ribs are seen only on models with more and narrower ribs.

it also looks like either a modern copy bridge or that the std shelf bridge is on backwards. The bone insert should be in the soundhole side.
