    Question Loar LM-170

I haven't found one to try...anyone tried one out? Verdict?

Yep, I received the first shipment. Not bad at all. Playability is identical to the 220/300. The tone is not quite there with the 220, but it is not bad and I would still consider it a good choice at the price point.

Found one and snatched it up. This is really a very excellent mandolin for 300 bucks(got mine on sale for less though). I am extremely pleased with it.

Congratulations! I am really happy with these as well. I love that they stayed with the Grover tuners on this model
