    Default Still at it! J.L. Smith (5-stringer) Just Completed.

    Just thought I'd post this one, that I just completed: 5-String, with dual Kent Armstrong Mini-Humbuckers, Flamed Maple Neck, and upgraded Gotoh Mini Tuners. I also did an upgrade on the electronics with this one, by adding a resistor into the treble bleed circuit (which smoothes the tone out nicely) and a Mallory capacitor (which just fit). Going out today to a fellow musician here in Florida.

    John- you're the man in the electric mandolin world. Another beautiful instrument.
    Chief. Way up North. Gibson 1917 A model with pickup. JL Smith 5 string electric. 1929 National Triolian resonator mandolin with pickup. National RM 1 with pickup. Ovation Applause. Fender FM- 60 E 5 string electric (with juiced pickups). 1950's Gibson EM-200 electric mandolin. 1954 Gibson EM-150 electric mandolin. Custom made "Jett Pink" 5 string electric- Bo Diddley slab style. Jay Roberts Tiny Moore model 5 string electric.
