I saw a young 11 year old boy playing a fiddle and he was asked how long he had been playing and he said 6 years, he was also asked if he ever took any lessons and he said he took lessons on the VIOLIN, but he now plays a FIDDLE, so he was asked what is the difference in a violin and a fiddle and his remark was, "A violin has 'STRINGS' and a fiddle has 'STRANGS' "...You may have to be from the south understand this...

Now we all know the difference....
