Hello all, I have lurked on this forum for several years off and on. I have owned 4 mandolins, a Johnson, a cheapo, 2 Morgan Monroe's. Well I have been off the mando wagon for a few years but now I'm back on... Today I visited the nice folks at Capo's in abingdon Va where I bought a Loar LM690. So it's safe to say I'm back on the wagon again.
I live in SW VA, about 20 minutes from Mr. Wayne Henderson's place, and in the heart of bluegrass/old time music.
I look forward to learning this instrument again, and building on where I left off a few years ago, I also look forward to researching on this site, some of the tips and techniques that I may have lost during my break.
Thanks and god bless
Charles
