    Looks like a Thomas Buchanan to me. Possibly a custom model, with a finer gloss finish than usual. The headstock may indicated an earlier date. But the design is pretty consistent with the current models: http://www.folkmandolin.co.uk/index.htm

    You could get in touch with Buchanan and ask him.

    Tom's already been asked (look back a few posts) - not his. I didn't think it was for a minute either (I own two recent Buchanans)
