    Default Heiden A

Did anyone else notice how fast that Heiden sold in the last two days from the classifieds ? I don't think it was listed but several hours and the price was cheap, around $5500.

Not surprising; with a 3 day approval, and at that price, it was a no-brainer if you had the funds...

Congrats Sam. When I saw it I said to my self it would go fast. I had no idea how fast. Look forward to a detailed report when you have it in your hands.

    Clement:

I'm still loving the Km-950 I got from you. I've played it a lot while my Collings has sat in the case. The Collings will go to a friend to help pay for the Heiden.

    Best wishes,

    Sam

Here are a couple of pics of the Heiden A that I received last week. It is A-54 and is an Artist model. The tone of this mandolin is quite complex. It is a whole different animal from the fine Collings I have been playing for the last several years. Each note seems to have its own personality. I wish I was a more talented word-smith so I communicate the intricacies of this wonderful mandolin.

The seller must have been desperate for money to sell that cheap !! I should have my new Heiden within the next several weeks but a bit more money than your purchase !
