REM - Hairshirt

Been working on REM's song Hairshirt this week. Found an accurate breakdown for it on-line and have been playing along with the track on REM's CD some but I'm not perfect. It is probably the easiest REM mandolin song to play because it's all strumming instead of picking out individual notes. It can be a bit of a stretch for me to keep my pinky on the 7th fret E string while having my index finger down on the A string 2nd fret. (Maybe I just have short fingers!)

I got Green when it came out, and this was my favourite song for ages. It's taken me this long to buy a mandolin!
