    Re: Full-contact bridges: New standard?

    Re: Saga AM-10 A-Style Kit...

Well... I recently retired and decided to dive into a few projects that have been lurking in the shadows for years. One of them is this AM-10 Kit. I did a lot of hot-rodding the components and even...
  5. Re: "The Loar 700" Re-invent/Rescue and Martin R18 Rescue

It has taken a long time with my extremely tight schedule, but the results are worth it! The Martin has a some minor fret buzz higher on the neck on a couple of strings, but they both sound and play...

    Re: Leoswood Armrest

Hey Chan! I haven't heard back from him yet, but after reading the crazy story, right out of the world's current insanity, I've sort of written it off as a donation to world sanity. I would rather...

  13. Re: Refinishing a MK: tips, techniques, words from the wise.

Hi Andy, I tried all of the very harsh epoxy strippers, as well as all the gel paint strippers and they just rolled off and didn't touch the finish. At that point I wasn't aware of the citrus...
  14. Re: Refinishing a MK: tips, techniques, words from the wise.

Here is a thread that speaks directly to this. A few years ago I refinished my Legacy O model. It is an earlier instrument made in Korea so I'm not sure what finish they are using now but this older...

  25. Re: Blue Chips: Who's migrated to non-beveled (round bevel)?

I shied away from these for a long time because of the hype and expense. Finally, about a month ago I got a TAD-3R 60 with round bevel thinking it might be somewhat similar to the venerable Dawg pick...
