    Re: Major chord arpeggios

Re: How to build a solo?

This is just one approach. Solos don't have to reference the melody. If you ALWAYS start with the melody, you will NEVER engage your inner voice.

It's not a Bluegass or fiddle tune, but it's well...

  7. Re: Compensation for Artists on Instructional Websites

If your studio or teaching fee is advanced and the rest of the royalties are gravy, isn't it a no brainer?
  8. Re: Compensation for Artists on Instructional Websites

Re: How to build a solo?

  11. Compensation for Artists on Instructional Websites

Does anyone here have an idea what artists who create courses for instructional sites get in compensation. Is there a usual percent of net or gross, or an up front payment?

    I assume that sites...

    Re: Mastering a New Skill

I have always been a poor speller. So articles about spelling have always caught my attention. Basically, if you are a poor speller, there is nothing you can do to become a good spell.

    Thank God...

Re: How to approach practicing and improvement?

If your goal is to solo more confidently, practice doing that.

Just like anything else, you manage it by slowing down and working on small sections.

    Re: Position playing or shifting?
