This is what I use for small gigs. I've utilized it with a mixer and two condenser mic's to power a full bluegrass band for an outdoor gig. Furthermore, this one now comes with rechargeable battery...
The great thing is that artists continue to create what pleases them, despite what the tyrants in their ivory towers deem worthy of the airwaves. :) Sing, dance, create joyfully!

I like mine. :mandosmiley:
Dearest Bretheren of the Mandolin,
I've released my third songwriter CD entitled, 'Lonesome Troubadour'. There's mandolin peppered throughout, but it's really an Americana CD.
The title cut...
I adore my Ellis A. Exquisite!
I refer to my instruments by their given names. My Ellis is called, 'My Ellis'. Guess what I call my Weber and my Gibson?
This is a fitting story for a 'Stupidest Criminals' show. One day at band practice, "Hey Guys, what if we....?"
I've seen many scrolls that hardly represent fine craftsmanship and in such instances, an A would definitely be preferable. I have an f and a couple A's... Means nothing to me. I just love fine...
I realized, with some astonishment, that I'd purchased 6 blue chip picks. I have three TPR 60's for mandolin and two thumb picks for dobro. We all know the price, so add that up and I've got quite an...

That'll serve you well! Happy Pickin'!
I've often wondered why folks feel comfortable listing their instruments as part of their signature on this Forum and others. That's just inviting trouble, IMHO. If you're happy and comfortable with...
I had to truncate my eloquent thesis to fit into the paltry 250 characters as well.
It'll be interesting to see who wins with what name.
If there's anything one can draw from this thread it's that there are a multitude of economical ways to achieve the goal of compact, portable amplification. It's just a matter of finding what works...
I paid $300 for my used AC60 and $199 for my AKG C3000B. The Bose Tonematch costs $499 and the L1 a grand. I got the idea from Bose. I've played through both.... for the cost, it's not an upgrade......
L1 with a mixer, which cost as much as the Roland, would be an improvement.
