Richard is right.
The OM from Thomann link is APC M305, they do like to slap their sticker on everything they can.
I just got APC bouzouki, and it's grand - slight problem with nut, slots are not...
You've Karl Nesbitt in Cork and he does a lot of teaching as far as I know.
you can check him on youtube he has few vids where he teaches some zouk and bodhran.
Great musician, lovely album Vista...
Frank is a really good bouzouki and mandolin player.
he used to play with Eoin Dillon - uilleann piper with Kila - they've recorded together I think it was Third Twin.
great album
I really like the look of Weber armrests with the tailpiece
and it seems to me that it would work good with the way I'm holding my mandolin

for that kind of money that you've got there I think I'd go with Buchanan
http://www.folkmandolin.co.uk/
I played few of his zouks and they are pretty cool instruments.
and why not?
it's a brilliant and versatile instrument
you can play all kinds of music on it.
you may also try Alambig Electrik, Esquisse, Forzh Penaos, Karma and Startijenn
BRAINS!!! BRAINS!!!

I did something like that on Buchannan bouzouki
I was trying to get used to scale and switching from tenor banjo.
IHMO instrument lost a lot out of it's volume.
years ago when I've started on mandolin I was thinking the same
my fingers are way too big to play the mandolin, so I got me a tenor banjo.
few years later I've seen one of the Donegal fiddle...
