You're right, both venues do have their plusses and minuses. The view at Walsh Farm isn't as nice, but the farm is much safer than Rothvoss Farm.
I own a 1942 Martin 2-30 series. I love it. It's great to play, and I love the tone. It's not really loud enough for bluegrass, though. It really can't stand up to a banjo.
My last days on earth. Never heard it with two mandos.
