    i used to do exactly what michael lewis said in his reply..the thing i found was important was the leveling of the top or back. if you try to do it on a sanding board it will take forever..to avert...

    larry, that was the pre curser to the peter ostrousko edition.he played it and i was given a commission to build to his specs..the instrument then was sold to chuck underwood of ky...gavin
