Jim I got the nuts from lee valley here in Canada, around 10 dollars a pound. There were 12 nuts to the pound.. So with shipping it was just under 20 dollars. Thanks for interesting websites guys

I can post some finished picks.. I had a nut sliced up and some regular picks on top, the seem slippery but not oily.. Teflon like.. one must play..

I made them a little thicker than a normal pick but at the picking part I shaped accordingly, seem to work fine for me.. seen some stone picks in Eureka Spring AR, were nice looking but at 30...
